As users add their own foraging locations, we’re also scouring the internet for more, bringing together foragers, tree enthusiasts, and freegans globally. The data includes everything from small neighborhood foraging maps to professional tree inventories. Right now, our app lists thousands of different edible foods (mostly plant species) across thousands of cities worldwide. Common plants sit alongside long-forgotten foreign and native species. Foraging is like a journey through time, discovering new cultures and exotic flavors.
