Infrared Escape

EarthGames is excited to introduce Infrared Escape, a game that blends frantic arcade fun with learning about the greenhouse effect! You have to try it to believe it! In this game, you play as an infrared light beam trying to escape to space. Along the way, you'll dodge pesky greenhouse gases by tapping left or right. Each time you collide with a gas, you lose energy, and if you keep hitting them, it’s game over. 

Your journey is divided into levels, each representing a layer of the atmosphere. Successfully navigating through Earth’s atmosphere and into space is a significant achievement—it means your ray has helped cool down the Earth and combat global warming! 

The easiest mode is set in the year 1850, when there were far fewer greenhouse gases to dodge. The hardest mode takes place in a much more polluted future, requiring lightning-fast reflexes to navigate the tightly packed gases. When you finally escape to space, you prevent energy from warming the planet, which you can use in the shop to unlock science facts about the greenhouse effect and solutions to climate change. Get ready for an educational adventure!
